Event-handling information.

Each contextual schema contains several kinds of information in its event descriptions to aid event handling (Figure 4). Information about the relationship between the observed event and its causes allows the agent to find the real event that needs to be responded to. Information about event importance allows it to decide whether to ignore the event or to respond to it. And information about goals to activate in response to the event allow the agent to handle the event appropriately for its situation.
