in the Department of Computer Science

Research on mine/unexploded ordnance clearing in the Department of Computer Science takes place with the Maine Software Agent & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (MaineSAIL).

This research focuses on using multiple small land robots to find and clear mines and unexploded ordnance from a region. Research foci: planning using naturally-bounded areas, cooperative multiagent systems. Collaborators: Naval Postgraduate School.
